NEW SECURE POWER OF ATTORNEY FORM IMPLEMENTATION

A recurring problem facing dealers’ is that a customer with a missing title selling a vehicle to a dealership often fails to return to sign a duplicate title. In order to address this issue and meet dealers’ needs, GNYADA worked with the DMV to create the MV-93 Secure Power of Attorney form. The MV-93 serves to authorize the dealer accepting the trade-in as the attorney-in- fact for the purpose of odometer and damage disclosure and signature on a title. This eliminates the need for the customer to return to the dealership to sign the duplicate title.
