ATTENDEE SURVEY B y taking a deep-dive into the minds of New York International Auto Show attendees to discover why they’re coming and what actions they plan to take as a result of their visit, our attendee survey consistently reports that visitors are serious about purchasing or leasing a vehicle in the near future and that attending the Show significantly increased their purchase consideration. The annual Attendee Survey is conducted by Foresight Research, a long-running research firm specializing in automotive surveying. Their clients also include many of the exhibiting OEMs at the Show. They assess the impact and influence the Auto Show and ROI of participation by exhibitors · 750 Auto Show attendees were interviewed at multiple locations of the show to obtain a diverse sampling of visitors. · The interviews took place between April 14 and 17, 2017. Local Resident Interviews · 500 households in the Greater New York Metropolitan Area received surveys. · Households were surveyed via the internet within 10-14 days of the close of the show. The results of these surveys are reported in the study as “Local Attendees.” · This data is weighed demographically according to the New York CSA population to ensure proper representation. and sponsors through their surveys.
