New York Auto Show goes live with WABC one-hour live special “Lively” is a description often used to describe New York City, and this year WABC-TV drove home the point by producing a one-hour “live” special of the New York Auto Show from the floor of the Javits Center. Viewership grew 18%, which beats all competitors combined. New York’s #1 local station brought the news team to the Auto Show for its one-hour live television special “NY Auto Show: In the Fast Lane” spotlighting all the must-see vehicles and special attractions at the Show. Hosted by WABC’s Lee Goldberg, Amy Freeze and Ryan Field, the special brought the Show floor to life for viewers during its primetime slot on Opening Day, Saturday, April 20. This program remains one of the biggest drivers in local consumer interest and gives NYIAS a platform to share all the excitement generated by the Show.
