recommend that dealers permit employees to ask follow-up questions and to document any questions received and answers given during the training. If an employee fails to complete the worksheet or if they get more than 3 answers wrong, it is best practice to have them complete the training again. Recordkeeping Dealers should have all employees sign an acknowledgment of training after they complete anti-sexual harassment training. Dealers should retain a copy of the signed acknowledgement, and worksheet if applicable, in each employee’s personnel file. Anti-Sexual Harassment Policy for Association Members GNYADA reviewed the State’s model policy, poster, and complaint form and added customized notes and instructions for dealers. Documents include: • Model Anti-Sexual Harassment Policy • Anti-Sexual Harassment Poster • Model Complaint Form for Reporting Sexual Harassment ERP’s Model Employee Handbook has been updated in compliance with the new Anti-Sexual Harassment Policy requirements. Members of ERP can receive this Model Handbook as a benefit of ERP. New York City passed anti-sexual harassment legislation requiring employers with 15 or more employees who work in NYC for more than 80 hours a year to conduct interactive anti-sexual harassment training by December 31, 2019. To help employers satisfy this training requirement, the City has released an interactive online training video called Confronting Sexual Harassment. The video runs for approximately 45 minutes and employees must click through slides and respond to questions throughout the program. The training video can be found at www1.nyc.gov/site/cchr/law/sexual-harassment-training.page UPON COMPLETION OF THE TRAINING VIDEO, EMPLOYEES WILL RECEIVE A PRINTABLE CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION.
