Rivian is a new, Michigan-based American automaker expected to begin production in 2020

AUDI E-TRON Already on the scene is the Audi e-tron ( see right ); a luxurious, mid-size SUV that just happens to be designed from the ground up as an electric vehicle. The e-tron features an electric motor on each axle, with the rear slightly more powerful than the front, making a combined total of 402 horsepower and 490 lb-ft of torque. Between the two, it is powered by a 95 kWh battery pack, with an estimated driving range of more than 200 miles between recharges. JAGUAR AND NEWCOMER RIVIAN Also on the market is the Jaguar I-Pace, providing svelte confirmation of the concept that EVs can be beautiful. Looking a little further into the future, check out the all-electric Rivian SUV at the Show, displayed along with the Rivian ( see above ) pickup truck prototype.
