I am pleased to present you with the 2020 Membership Directory and Services Guide. This annual GNYADA publication is an invaluable resource, serving as both a guide to the Association’s vast suite of member services and a primer on rules and strategies to enhance your business operations. Thank you to all the contributors for the invaluable information included in the 2020 Membership Directory and Services Guide; and to all the advertisers that help GNYADA continue to provide you with this resource. If there has ever been a time to realize the importance of being a member of the Greater NewYork Automobile Dealers Association…Now is that time! Since the start of this association, 110 years ago, GNYADA has always held a high standard concerning the efforts it puts forth assisting dealers. The COVID-19 pandemic has pressed the Association to raise its demanding standards to an even higher level. Due to the rapid changes in the way we are supposed to run our businesses, the association needed to quickly strategize on how to best meet our needs. And GNYADA did just that. President Mark Schienberg and his team put in place a multi-pronged approach designed to meet our challenges, as franchised new car dealers, presented by COVID-19. With an effective advocacy strategy, communications plan, and education program GNYADA helped guide us dealers through the pandemic. The steps GNYADA took to help dealers through these new automotive retailing norms were as much about the health and safety of our staffs and customers…as they were about the health and safety of our businesses. We don’t know when the COVID-19 pandemic will be over or when our lives will return to some sort of normalcy. But I want our dealers and their staff to know, as chairwoman of this amazing association, GNYADA will be with us every step of the way. Until that time, please stay safe and healthy.
